This is were I will show you all that I do in Literacy.

Junie B and her big fat mouth

Today I read Junie B.
This book is about a girl who wanted to grow up to be a crazy job.
It was job day Junie b had dressed up as the person she wanted to be when she grow up.
That was the same as the hole class.
When I read what she wanted to be I said to myself.
" Who would want to be that because it might be smelly.
She is a Janitor.
That is someone who cleans the toilets and stuff.
Then she let people us some of her stuff because she is nice.
I am up to chapter 8.

Hamilton Island

If I got to go to a place away I would go to Hamilton Island because it is PRETTY, NICE AND

RELAXING.

I went to Hamilton Island in 2007.

We had a LOVELY ROOM.

It had 4 bedrooms, 2 showers and a spa out side.

When my family went to the shops we had a GOLF BUGGY that when BANG BANG.

That is the best place I have been ever.

Word study

Today I played ''FORM A WORD'' with be Grandma.

It was fun because I won.

We made words like Silly, Shopping, Love and more.

We played for an hour so we could get two games in.

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

In class we are reading "THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS" by John Boyne.

This book is about a boy named Bruno who lived in a lovely house and had to move to a house

that he did not like. The house he liked the best was in Berlin and the house he doesn't like is in

out with. One day Bruno wanted to make a swing so he did. Then Guess what? He fell off and

grazed his knee. When my teacher read that I felt very sad.

We are up to chapter nine I wonder what it will be like.

Today I read Follow that Loin! by Rosemary Hayes.

This book is about a boy named Hector and he thinks his Mum is a nutter.

I think that is funny because it is like a nut but er on the end.

This is the blurb on the book is: Hector's mum has found an unusual pet. She says it is gentle. Hector knows better..........

If I had to write the blurb this is what it would be: Hector has a pet a big one. Can you guess

what it is ?

This book has a loin in it so if you like loins pick this book.

I rate this book 10 out of 10.

Dimante Poem

Today is the 18/9/09 2009.

I am going to show you my poem I did that is called a DIMANTE POEM.

This is mine:

Mechanical age
Big, Grey
relaxing, shinning, happening
Knives, wood, leaves, round
shimmering, Falling, hitting
Green, tall
Trees

If you want to make one you have to have.

First line a noun that is a place or a thing
Second line 2 adjectives that relate to your noun
Third line 3 ing words that relate to your noun
Fourth Line 4 nouns 2 that relate to the first noun and 2 that relate to a different noun
Fifth line 3 ing words that relate to your 2nd noun
Sixth line 2 adjectives that relate to your 2nd noun
Seventh line one noun that you were talking about the second one.

Today I am going to tell you my favourite book.

I like this book because it is an easy read, Funny and it is about football and I like that.

I like books that are an easy read because they take you about 30 min to read.

The Bad Book

Today I read the Bad Book.

This Book has funny tittles for there little bit eg. Six Lane high way.

I rate this book 10/10.

I think that the six lane high way is funny because the mum said yes to the boy to run across the

six lane high way.

These are my favourite little bits because they are cool and funny because the ant go on the old

lady and the mum lets the boy do everything. Six lane high way, bad ant, Bad daddy and the big

swing and bad baby.

Matilda

Today I read Matilda by Roald Dahl.

The Characters in this book are caled: Matilda, Michael, Miss Honey, Mr & Mrs Wormwood, Miss Trunchbull, Amanda Thripp and Bruce Bogtrotter.

This book is about a girl named Matilda that had some terrible parents

If I was a mum I would not say mean things to me children because it might make them feel sad or angry.

TODAY I READ DEAR DUMB DAIRY IT'S NOT MY FAULT I KNOW EVERYTHING.
THIS BOOK IS REALLY GOOD SO FAR BECAUSE IT TELLS YOU ABOUT THE PEOPLE AND IS FUNNY.
THE PEOPLE IN THIS BOOK ARE CALLED JAMIE KELLY, HUDSON, ISABELLINE AND ANGELINE.
EVERYONE SHOULD LIKE THIS BOOK BECAUSE IT IS FUNNY AND COOL.
I LIKE HOW IT GAVE YOU A DAIRY AT THE BEGINNING WITH DIFFERENT WRITING.
I AM UP TO PAGE 5 AND CHAPTER 2.
I RATE THIS BOOK 10 OUT OF 10.

Today I read Harry Potter by J.K Rowling.

I like Harry Potter because he is cute and funny.

I wounder why Harry Potter has that line on his heard.

Today I read Junie B., First Grader (P.S So does May) by Barbara Park. This is an easy read type of book.I think that this is a book that all kinds of people will like because it is humourous and easy to read. Junie B has a secret dairy and says mean things about May. Junie B thinks that May is mean and disgusting. I think that in her dairy it says that May is mean and ugly because she does not like her. I don't think that people should say mean things about people because it will hurt there feelings. I rate this book 10 out of 10 so I think you should read it.

I think that it is mean to say mean things about people because it might hurt there feelings.

Word wall words

In 4/5R we have word wall words.

Some times we get hard one but most of the time we get easy ones.

This weeks word wall words are OFTEN, CAN'T, HOUR, SUBURB, JOIN, EVERYTHING, BURNT, DIDN'T, DECODE and KEYBOARD.

My favourite word is HOUR because it is what I see on the clock a lot.
